The EPV label - Living Heritage Company

The EPV label is a mark of recognition from the State, which distinguishes the rare craftsmanship and industrial know-how of French companies capable of carrying out tailor-made projects.

It reflects the will of the public authorities to promote manufacturing activities and high quality services in France.

The procedure for awarding the EPV label is carried out by experts. The assessment and interpretation of the award criteria are entrusted to an independent National Commission, made up of professionals who work in favor of practices guaranteeing excellence within their own activity.

The Institut Supérieur des Métiers (ISM) provides the secretariat for this Commission and examines applications for the awarding of the label.

The selection process for companies in the Living Heritage guarantees their excellence and involves many steps: examination of the application file, request for advice from regional State services and consular establishments, drafting of an investigation report, company visits by experts of the profession, examination by the National Commission and final decision by the ministers.
