Carom billiards is currently experiencing rapid development in South Korea:
- the country benefits from several million regular practitioners with a high level of practice. The 3 Cushion and 4 Balls, comparable to the Free Game or Frame in Europe, are the most practiced disciplines in Korea.
- several hundred professional players are registered with the Korean Billiards Federation and the best Korean players are now in the top places in all international competitions
- a professional circuit inspired by golf was created in February 2019: tournaments with nearly 70,000€ of prize money are organised every 2 months and their broadcast attracts many spectators
- the already substantial offer of billiard rooms (several tens of thousands) is booming: they are modernising and adapting their equipment to the ever more demanding demands of their customers.
To meet the expectations of this clientele, Bréton wishes to develop a “turnkey” offer for room owners. In partnership with our local distributor, we help them at every stage of their project: choice of location, interior decoration, equipment (player lockers, screens for scores) and billiard table supplies to satisfy even the most demanding customers.
“AERO CAROM CLUB”: this is the name of one of the last rooms equipped with 12 AERO Bréton 10ft models to open in 2019 in the Cheonho district, east of Seoul. The particularly neat interior layout, such as the lockers reserved for players’ equipment, the cosy atmosphere and the brand new tables offer exceptional playing conditions for all lovers of 3-band billiards.
In Daejeon, a city located about 150 km southeast of Seoul, 4 Aero 310 and 4 Regent 310 models have been installed to the delight of the players of the “MyeongJak” club. In a luxurious and cosy setting, the matches played on each table can be broadcast in livestreaming and regulars save each of their performances on the room’s server…
The owners of the rooms thus offer an ideal environment and playing conditions for a clientele of enthusiasts that is growing every day.
